There are 25 different ways for you to customize your brush. You can adjust it from a 2B pencil to marker or ink brush stroke. This allows you to draw your canvass in fine detail or cover it whole at once. Procreate has a color wheel to let you choose a precise shade for your art. And there is also the classic color picker palette – one thing you often see in digital art programs.

The Editing Feature

Procreate is a powerful tool with a layering system that is similar with other image editing applications. With this app It is also possible to retain your art’s integrity while doing your work. The app allows copying and pasting of layers to and from the clipboard.

You can create new layers by a click and there’s a reference layer that can be activated through two fingers. After the activation, you can choose the next layer and fill it using ColorDrop, based on the reference. After blending the colors, you can move and merge the layers at your will. You can position everything, in a way, that looks perfect to your vision.

Zoom and Rotate

These two features are real handy, most especially, when you are making a digital design. You can zoom and rotate your canvass using your two fingers. This will allow you to provide more details, despite of the small screen space you are working on. Procreate has quality graphics to provide your drawing with a professional and gorgeous finish.

Saving Your Art

If an emergency work calls you to leave your work for the meantime, it is possible to save your unfinished design. You won’t worry about losing what you have started. You may also share it to iTunes, Twitter, Facebook, Weibo. Procreate supports various formats, including PNG, JPEG, and Photoshop.

Negative Feedback About Procreate App

The app is a complex application with too many buttons and tools. You might be getting problems with its usage at first. This probably not a problem with long-time designers, but for newbies, it can be. You’ll have to study all the features to make the most out of it.

Another seemingly-problem with this app is that it has limited features. This is attributed to those who are highly-skilled designers. Once you have mastered all its tools, you might feel dissatisfied. The app could be even better. But still, it is way better than other designing apps today.
