I used to have Eset Nod32 Antivirus installed in my computer for quite a while. No, I was not convinced with the other reviews I have read. Rather, it all started when my brother and a friend recommended it. Talking about the food chain, eh? Then, Eset Smart Security 7 came in. Nothing much with this product, except it has an added bonus. And yes, it’s a plus security.

Over the years, the reason I didn’t switch to other anti-virus software is the quality it has provided. Although there may be flaws, all the improvements may have hid them in the covers.

 

ESET SMART SECURITY PERFORMANCE AND EXPERIENCE

Perhaps, you can imagine how a company that have been in the industry for 22 years. The first time it was installed in my computer, never I was able to experience that my machine was embedded with malware or other virus that couldn’t be fixed. Imagine how an expert basketball player does the shot block. That is how Eset works. It is good at real-time blocking. You may have noticed on some flaws of the software before, as days has passed, its service just keeps getting better.

 

WHAT ABOUT THE INTERFACE?

It may not be as simple as it can be, but looking at it, a polished simple usability interface. As for the other features? They are basically simple, yet rather useful.

Parental Controls

By far, this is the feature I find it the most convenient. If you would want to have a quick Enable and Disable feature, clicking on this corner should serve its purpose. On the other hand, this is a way where parents can control their kids from clicking on the wrong site. Moreover, it has a password protect as part of its settings.

Continuing with its interface, Eset looks modern and sleek. The links compromise with the usability. There may be difficult stats to find, but they all haggle in the advanced settings tab or corner. Overall, it’s interface is user-friendly.

 

VIRUS AND SPYWARE PROTECTION

If you wanted real virus and spyware protection for your computer, Eset has met your needs. It has stopped any threats and even dangerous sites (although, not all).
Scanning may be able to capture the viruses, but not totally all of it. It may be able to leave some of the dangerous stuff, but it can still has the power to fix it anyway. Here’s their real deal, their firewall is the best. Although some users may not agree with me, firewall may not totally block all those threats and danger. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion. Of Its Resource Usage

I have nothing much to say on this. Whenever your computer is running on idle, believe it or not, 1% is all it needs. Meanwhile, memory usage is just a whopping 55%. Nothing to be alarmed, right.
